Four Tuesdays, March 3–March 24, 5–6:30 pm PT
While life can always present challenges, these are extremely challenging times for many of us. It is important, now more than ever, to find refuge and sanctuary to support our wellbeing in order that we might joyfully travel the bodhisattva path and embody the 12th Step.
In the safe container of this four week class, we will study the joy and comfort of taking refuge in the triple treasures of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Together we’ll explore how to truly cultivate an inner sense of peace and security. This internal sanctuary is a place you can access anytime, anywhere, regardless of internal or external chaos.
Embracing our Bodhisattva vows and the deep request of recovery to live with intention, we will explore and develop practices which allow us to be of service to others. We enact our intentions of increased wellness, recovery, and peace through our thoughtful and compassionate efforts.
This course is for all people who are in the process of recovery. It includes newcomers and seasoned practitioners; folks in early recovery, those contemplating a path of recovery, and those wishing to deepen their current path.
Taking refuge in the Buddha in myself, I aspire to help all people recognize their own awakened nature and realize the mind of love.
Taking refuge in the Dharma in myself, I aspire to help all people grasp the way of practice and walk together on the path of liberation.
Taking refuge in the Sangha in myself, I aspire to help all people build fourfold communities and encourage the transformation of all beings.
