Zenshinji (Zen Heart-Mind Temple) is located in central California, in a remote valley in the heart of the Ventana Wilderness area of the Los Padres National Forest. Tassajara was founded in 1967 by the late Zen teacher Shunryu Suzuki Roshi.

Applications for the Fall 2022 Practice Period at Tassajara with Abbess Furyu Schroeder are due by August 19.
