Six Mondays, 8 – 8:50 am

It is now noted that there were many Dharma-transmitted women in the history of Buddhism, but what is known about them was lost due to selective record-keeping. The history of every religion is carried in real people. The Monday study session will focus on these real women and their stories. By investigating who they were, we are better able to remember them. Often these women were reformers. Would you like to meet some persons who were powerful, fearless, and devoted? Come to this study session and we will learn about them together.

  • For Covid safety, all attendees must be masked (KN95 or N95) and fully vaccinated (as well as boosted if eligible). Attendees may not visit the temple if they have cold or flu symptoms, if they have been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with Covid (within 14 days), or if they have tested positive for Covid within the last 10 days. To return to the temple after a positive Covid infection, it must be at least 10 days since testing positive and the attendee must have a negative antigen test.
