In a time of ecological change and uncertainty, how might we meet the Earth—and our own lives—from a place of intimacy?
This two-hour workshop offers an opportunity to explore the climate crisis through Zen practice. We will explore the crisis as a call to a different way of relating—to the living world, to one another, and to this one human body inseparable from the Earth.
Grounded in the Dharma, we will practice settling into direct experience and listening beyond habitual narratives. Through mindfulness practices, shared reflection, and a contemplative nature walk, we will explore what it means to meet the Earth as kin.
Together, we will consider forms of adaptation and resilience rooted in relationship—responding to change by staying present, responsive, and connected, even when there's a pull to withdraw, harden, or shut down. This workshop invites curiosity and care, offering a space to reconnect with the living world as it is, here and now.
All are welcome.
