June 24 – 27, 2018 (Monday – Thursday)
No previous experience in any of the modalities is required.
The three practices of Zen, Yoga, and Alexander Technique share in common the wish to end suffering that is due to habits of separation.
In this retreat, we will explore in zazen (seated meditation), in yogāsana (yoga postures) and through the principles of Alexander Technique, how the body-mind gets stuck in a fear response, creating tension and anxiety, and how we can find the expansive awareness that allows the body and mind to open to other possibilities, and a life lived fully from a place of openness and ease.
Retreat fee: $288 ($245/Member)
Please note that the retreat fee does not include accommodations. Retreats begin late afternoon on the indicated start date and end in the morning on the indicated end date. Visit the Rooms & Rates section and determine your preferred accommodations before making your reservations request online.
