This follow-up conversation between Kokyo Henkel and Chris Jay continues their exploration of two powerful traditions of awakening—Soto Zen and Tibetan Vajrayana.
Building on the themes of Part I, this session will offer a deeper look at the relationship between view and practice in each path, with focused dialogue around topics such as:
- Buddha-nature and devotion
- Shikantaza and Dzogchen as direct methods
- The role of ethical conduct in realization
- Navigating dual practice or cross-traditional interest
The conversation will be framed by a set of guiding questions, allowing each teacher time to reflect and respond. A live Q&A segment will follow, along with closing reflections from both speakers.
Participants are invited to bring their questions to the session. Whether or not you attended Part I, all are welcome—a video link to the original conversation will be provided to registrants in advance.
Recordings:
All course sessions will be recorded, and registered participants will receive temporary access to the recordings for later viewing.
