In this gentle offering for families of all forms, we honor family practice as a full expression of bodhisattva vows. Through creative projects, play, and stories, we learn about our Zen lay-ancestors, receive the wisdom of children, and dedicate ourselves to healing our family lineages.
Our seasonal daylong retreats begin in the yurt and may include time outside on the farm and in the gardens or visits to the kitchen or the zendo. Lunch is always included and the day ends with a sangha building circle in the Jizo Garden, where we dedicate the merit of our practice to ancestors and those who are suffering.
All ages and family formations are welcome.
