This introductory half-day workshop explores the relationship between contemplative meditation practice, somatic awareness, and parts work/self-energy inquiry in an accessible and grounded way.
Drawing from Zen practice, restorative yoga, somatic inquiry, and Internal Family Systems-inspired language, the workshop will support participants in developing greater calm, clarity, compassion, and curiosity toward their internal experience.
The day will include:
- Guided meditation and somatic grounding practices
- Gentle restorative movement/yoga
- Inquiry into “parts” and conditioned patterns
- Dyad and small group reflection
- Silent sitting practice (zazen)
The workshop is intended as an introductory exploration rather than deep therapeutic trauma work, with an emphasis on safety, accessibility, and practical tools for self-awareness and embodied presence.
