Rohatsu is a Buddhist holiday, celebrated on or around December 8, that commemorates the day the Buddha attained enlightenment under a Bodhi tree. Said another way, it commemorates the day the Buddha had his spiritual awakening. Having had a spiritual awakening, he committed to bring the message to those who still suffered and practice the Dharma in all his affairs.
Please join as we gather at Green Gulch Farm to reflect on our own experiences of the 12th Step. Co-led by Cynthia & Steven, this day will include gentle sitting, mindful walking, two Dharma talks, a walk around the beautiful gardens, and time to simply be. Suitable for all levels of meditation experience.
