Outreach: Hygiene Kit Packing, CC 10/24

One in five children in the U.S. lives in low-income households, and many lack consistent access to essentials. Schools report that students often miss class or avoid participation simply because they don’t have what they need to feel clean, comfortable, and confident.

We will partner with a local nonprofit, Simply the Basics, to assemble hygiene kits that will be distributed at schools and educational centers. Hygiene is not a privilege; it’s a foundation for health, confidence, and opportunity. We will come together to set our intention, enjoy tea and cookies, and assemble kits for later distribution.
