KP Peck

Vice Chair

KP Peck began practicing meditation about fifteen years ago after spontaneously attending a sit and Dharma talk in San Francisco. They practiced in the Vipassana tradition for nearly a decade, including a one-month silent meditation retreat and Precepts reception with Matthew Brensilver in 2013. KP also completed “Siting in the Fire,” an Insight-Out and GRIP program training on how to teach mindfulness in prisons. At the prompting of Pamela Weiss, KP began exploring Zen practice at City Center in 2018 and started working with Nancy Petrin shortly thereafter. KP received Jukai in January 2023.

Currently, KP is Head of the Project Management Office at Peet’s Coffee with an enterprise portfolio that includes major system transformations, supply chain optimization, and innovation. KP’s career includes project management and operations leadership roles at Gap, Sephora, and Clif Bar. Immediately prior to joining the team at Peet’s, KP helped stand up a joint venture between PepsiCo and Beyond Meat.
