Kimberly Paul

Kimberly’s life has been shaped by a love of art, beauty, yoga, and a good cup of coffee. Grounded and curious, she is drawn to the quiet wonders of the natural world. Yoga is her primary tool for insight and clarity, offering a steady response to the distractions of modern life.

With over 30 years of experience, she focuses on a balanced approach to wellness, combining mindfulness and movement in her classes. Her sessions are suitable for everyone, providing a supportive space for individuals to develop their practice and confidence.

Before turning her focus to teaching yoga, Kimberly spent years in New York City in a high-profile career in fashion and design. She worked for Ralph Lauren womenswear and later as a wardrobe and prop stylist for leading commercial photographers and advertising agencies. In a life changing event, a two-week spiritual retreat turned into a nine-month stay at the Kripalu Center, which at that time was a small residential yoga community offering a curriculum of yoga, meditation, and in-depth self-discovery programs to its residents.

Informed by extensive training, teaching, travel, and life experience, Kimberly brings both depth and clarity to her work. Her teaching balances rigor and discipline with openness, offering structure without rigid dogma and leaving room for curiosity, exploration, and growth.

Having studied extensively with Anna Forest, Edward Clark, and Kofi Busia, Kimberly’s approach is grounded in traditional methods while honoring the understanding that a strong foundation supports continued evolution. She views asana as a way to engage complexity in order to simplify life—cultivating awareness, presence, and appreciation for the everyday. Her current areas of study include structural integration, body mapping, and body-based trauma work.

Kimberly brings this approach to weekly group classes and private clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as to international retreats and residencies throughout Europe and Central and North America.
