Eight Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 pm PT
Embark on a timely exploration of what it means to lead a good life through the lens of Zen Buddhist teachings and practices. This course, rooted in study of the 16 Bodhisattva precepts, delves into the ethical complexities of present-day daily life, particularly against the backdrop of polarizing views and narratives prevalent in today's world. It offers a blend of historical and contemporary reflections to provide valuable insights into fostering mindfulness, intentionality, compassion, and ethical decision-making.
It will meet Mondays, January 29 – March 25, 7 – 8:30 pm PT (class will not meet on February 19). You may visit City Center to attend this class or view it online via Zoom. To attend at City Center, enter the zendo via the Laguna Street door 15 minutes before class begins.
