Whole Heart, Boundless Heart: A retreat on the four Brahmaviharas, ZMC 6/30–7/5
Description
Join us for a creative and heart-centered retreat! The four Immeasurables, or Brahmaviharas, are boundless capacities of love and kindness, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity. Recent scientific studies support what Buddhist practitioners have experienced for millenia: Cultivating these qualities supports increased satisfaction and joy in our hearts and interpersonal lives, and grounds the mind and meditative practice.
Join old friends Dawn Neal and Abbot Mako for a retreat dedicated to cultivating these boundless qualities. We will spend time learning the ancient meditative practices, as well as integrating them with creative and conversational approaches.
