Four Mondays, April 5–26, 5:30–6:30 pm PT
Did you know that in previous lives, the Buddha was a monkey, a parrot, and the queen of the dogs?
These Jataka Tales, or “birth stories,” imparted important lessons about how to walk the Buddha way with courage, integrity, and compassion. In this four-week online class, Ryuko Laura Burges, author and lay entrusted Zen teacher, will share one of these stories with us each week, give a Dharma talk on the Buddhist teachings embedded in these timeless stories, and offer a guided meditation. In discussion, we will share the wisdom of the group.

All course sessions will be recorded, and registered participants will receive temporary access to the recordings for later viewing.
