Friday, October 27, 5:45 – 7:30 pm: Sejiki Ceremony and Dinner
Immerse yourself in the profound experience of the Sejiki Ceremony, a traditional Buddhist ritual that honors and satiates hungry ghosts, restless and struggling spirits that cannot find nourishment. Costumes appreciated but not required. After the ceremony there will be a celebratory dinner.
5:45 pm – Densho (no evening zazen)
6:00 pm – Sejiki Ceremony in the Buddha Hall
6:30 pm – Dinner by donation (please register)

Saturday, November 11, 12:30 – 2:00 pm: Beginner’s Mind Temple Tour with architect Helen Degenhardt and Central Abbot David Zimmerman
Tour the temple and get an in-depth look at the renovation project with Helen Degenhardt and David Zimmerman. Join for the whole morning or just for the tour.

Wednesday, November 29, 7:30 – 8:45 pm: Full Moon Ceremony
Join us for our monthly Full Moon Ceremony, a traditional Buddhist observance marking the lunar cycle and providing an opportunity for renewal and atonement. The ceremony will be preceded by zazen and a shared community dinner. Attend as your schedule allows. Please register if you plan to come to dinner.
5:40 pm – Zazen and Service in the zendo
6:30 pm – Dinner by donation
7:30 pm – Full Moon Ceremony in the Buddha Hall, preceded by small group meetings
