Overnight Guest Accommodations at City Center

Overnight guests are welcome at City Center, where a bed & breakfast experience can be enjoyed within the context of an urban Zen Buddhist monastery. Guests who reserve a room are welcome (but not required) to join the community in Zen practice, such as morning and evening meditation, Buddhist service, Dharma talks, and other public events that may take place during their stay.

Located on the third floor of the main building, the guest rooms are simply yet comfortably furnished and fully accessible. One room, which looks out on Page Street, has an ensuite bathroom with roll-in shower, while the other guest rooms share bathrooms and face internal courtyards. Breakfast is included in the reservation (Monday–-Saturday only), while lunch and dinner are available to guests by donation (Monday–Friday). There are no meals offered on Sundays. All meals are vegetarian and/or vegan.

Reservations of guest rooms are exclusively made through the City Center’s booking.com site: please click here [link coming up soon] to check availability and make your reservation. Any other questions regarding the guest rooms may be directed to the Guest Manager: ccshika@sfzc.org.
