Green Gulch Farm Zen Center, also known as Green Dragon Temple (Soryu-ji), is a Buddhist practice center in the Japanese Soto Zen tradition offering training in Zen meditation and ordinary work.
Our effort at Green Gulch is to awaken in ourselves and the many people who come here the bodhisattva spirit, the spirit of kindness and realistic helpfulness. This is how we offer our understanding of Buddha's Way.
Due to recent heavy rains, a portion of Highway 1 near Green Gulch has been washed out. By following the detour signs to Muir Beach using Muir Woods Rd., Green Gulch may be accessed from the other direction (going southbound on Hwy 1). Map and directions.

Due to recently clarified pedestrian and car routes, as well as ADA accessibility improvements, there is less parking overall at Green Gulch. To encourage carpooling, vehicles with two or more people park free; a $5 donation is suggested for single drivers.
From May to October, Green Gulch organic produce is sold at Green Gulch and at various Farmers' Markets.
