SUMMARY:Saturday One-Day Sitting\, CC 6/20 – Canceled
DESCRIPTION:One-day sittings offer traditional Soto Zen all-day meditation practice. In order to understand the nature of our formal retreats and to be clear about the details of the practice\, please review a typical one-day sitting schedule. We ask those who attend one-day sittings to commit to participating in the complete schedule. \nWe will be using the traditional Zen form of oryoki for eating some of our meals in the zendo. While meals are included as part of the one-day sitting\, you will need an oryoki set to participate. You may either bring your own set\, purchase one ($100)\, or rent a set for the day. \nIf you will need a chair in the zendo for the entire day\, please indicate this when you sign up.
