Sesshins are traditional Soto Zen meditation retreats that include Dharma talks, sitting and walking meditation, and private interviews with practice leaders.
During our three days of silent sitting we will quiet the heart-mind and take up the everyday Zen teachings of Eihei Dogen in the Zuimonki. The text serves as a record of Dogen’s informal oral instructions to monks as recorded by his first disciple Ejo.
On Wednesday, March 17, to open sesshin, there will be an orientation for all participants at 7 pm PT and a Dharma talk at 7:30 pm PT.
$125; $112 current members; $87 limited income.
Reduced fee options are available on the registration page. Please register using the button below.
