Three Saturdays, 8:30 – 10 am PT

Dogen wrote the Tenzo Kyokun in 1237 as a guide for running a monastic kitchen, and it is one of his most accessible texts. Of course, being Dogen, he gets deep and philosophical as well. This class will explore how the ideas he expounds can help us navigate our busy lives out in the world of the 21st Century, and can help practitioners be more comfortable with Dogen's way of seeing things.
