Being sheltered-in-place (SIP) does not preclude our connection in the dharma or in the steps of recovery. Indeed, we have opportunities to walk our twining paths in deep connection—just not face to face. In this six-week program we will use Shunryu Suzuki's Zen Mind Beginner's Mind as the foundation for our discussions, meditations, and deeply shared experiences.

Our study sessions will include periods of sitting and walking meditation, dharma talks, discussions, and experiential learning activities. The course is for those who might be new to meditation and/or recovery and also for those who know that Beginner's Mind can be a gift to us all.

“When you become you, Zen becomes Zen. When you are you, you see things as they are, and you become one with your surroundings.” —Shunryu Suzuki
