When we’re left feeling exposed by the personal and global issues confronting our lives—dealing with Covid, climate change, personal pain, isolation, hopelessness, fatigue, and the complexity of personal relationships—how can we meet them with a real world application of our spiritual principles?
Join us for a conversation on how we can stay grounded while maintaining our principles, our motivation, and our momentum. Dr. Larry Brilliant and Dr. Grace Dammann will explore these topics within the work they’ve brought to the fields of epidemiology, pain management, and rehabilitation.
A pioneering physician and global philanthropist, Dr. Larry Brilliant was a key member of the WHO team that helped eradicate smallpox, a centuries-old disease estimated to have killed more than 300 million people beginning in the 1900s alone. Dr. Dammann, a physician whose extraordinary work with AIDS patients was honored by the Dalai Lama, runs the Pain Clinic at Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center.
Together they’ll offer practical approaches and perspectives to life’s challenges, informed by experience and resilience from confronting AIDS, smallpox, and Covid-19.
