SUMMARY:Four-Day Sesshin\, GGF 8/26–8/30
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, August 26\, 4 pm—Sunday\, August 30\, 2 pm \nThe Late Summer Four-Day Sesshin at Green Gulch Farm offers an entry into intensive retreat practice for those new to sesshin\, as well as a chance for more experienced sitters to touch into the heart of practice. \nPlease review the example sesshin schedule. The sesshin will consist of sitting and walking meditation\, Dharma talks\, and ceremonies\, with light instruction as needed throughout. Meals will be eaten silently and may take the form of oryoki meals in the zendo\, informal silent meals in the dining room\, or a combination of the two. Participants will be informed prior to the start of the retreat. \nThere will be an orientation on Wednesday\, August 26 at 4:00 pm. The sesshin will begin on Wednesday after dinner and conclude with lunch on Sunday. \nIf you have questions about your participation in this sitting\, please contact the Ino\, Head of the Meditation Hall\, at ggfino@sfzc.org. \nTo register for this sesshin\, begin by completing this form.  \nOnce you have been approved for the sesshin\, you will be sent an email that will include a link through which you can process your payment and complete your registration.
