SUMMARY:Arbor Day at Green Gulch Farm 2026\, GGF 4/19
DESCRIPTION:Please join in this decades-long tradition of Arbor Day at Green Gulch Farm as the community expresses our gratitude for the blessings of the earth. Following the 10:00 am Dharma talk\, participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch and picnic on the GGF grounds. Our apologies for not being able to provide lunch at this time due to staff shortages. \nAt 1:30 pm\, the Arbor Day event opens with words and a dedication ceremony. (Please follow the signs for directions to our opening gathering place.) Activities will include a ceremonial tree planting\, weeding\, sheet mulching\, and creating seed balls. At 4:30 pm we will gather on the patio for tea\, treats\, and closing. \nFeel free to bring your own gloves and basic gardening tools (clippers etc) if you have them. \n\n\n\n \n\nSchedule for Arbor Day Sunday: \n\n\n\n\n\n10:00 am\nSunday Program and Dharma Talk with Wendy Johnson\n\n\n12:30 pm\nPicnic with bag lunch\n\n\n1:30\nArbor Day event\n\n\n \nOpening words and dedication\n\n\n \nActivities: Ceremonial tree planting\, weeding\, sheet mulching\, and creating seed balls\n\n\n4:30\nGather on patio for tea\, treats\, and closing
