To have some deep feeling about Buddhism is not the point; we just do what we should do, like eating supper and going to bed. This is Buddhism. –Suzuki Roshi
The aim of this course is settling right here and now in the midst of our ordinary, everyday experience. How do we encourage the true flavor of zazen to permeate our complex 21st-century lives whether we are standing, sitting, walking or lying down, alone or with others? We will investigate this question through studying and discussing the words of Dogen Zenji in such works as Genjokoan, Fukanzazengi, and Bendowa, as well as those of Suzuki Roshi and other great masters.
