Do you ever find yourself questioning what to say when you disagree with someone, or having strong feelings you want to express without alienating your family, friends, students, clients or colleagues? In this workshop we will apply the Buddha’s teachings about speech to such situations in our everyday lives.
We will also explore some contemporary teachings related to listening and speaking with awareness and empathy. We will shine the light of mindful communication on some difficult conversations we may be in the midst of or may wish to have.
This class is open to anyone who wishes to delve deeper into speech—this necessary, challenging and rewarding aspect of life, work and relationships.
Please bring a bag lunch.
