The psychophysical practices of awakening, truth and intimacy are the heart of the Zen tradition of refuge in Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. In this six-week morning class, we will practice applying these transformative qualities to series of yoga asanas, or postures, that meet specific needs in our meditation practice. We will explore the specifics of alignment, support and release that bring the body and mind to a state of alert repose. Modifications will be taught to make the poses welcome and accessible for a wide variety of abilities.
Please wear comfortable clothing that exposes elbows and knees, such as a T-shirt and shorts; and please come with an empty stomach.
