Kazuaki Tanahashi is a calligrapher, painter, Zen scholar, and writer. Originally from Japan, he has had solo exhibitions worldwide. As a peace worker, Kaz is founding director of A World Without Armies
. He is the editor of a recently published two-volume translation of Dogen’s Shobogenzo, Treasury of the True Dharma Eye
as well as Heart of the Brush: The Splendour of East Asian Calligraphy
and Painting Peace: Art in a Time of Global Crisis,
