July 5-10 (Friday-Wednesday)

All levels welcome.

Drawing is the essence of the creative being.

To draw is to see and to see is to shift your consciousness in a certain way. Learning to draw is about learning to see: training the eye and the mind as well as the hand. When we see things as they truly are, the creative possibilities are endless. In this retreat, we will take up the practice of drawing and explore its relationship to meditation, awareness and creativity. Starting with simple drawing exercises that inspire subtle shifts in perception, your ability to see and to draw will be transformed as you focus on the natural beauty that Tassajara has to offer.

Retreat fee: $370 ($315/member)
