Explore the doorway inward through the practice of breath in Zen and Vinyasa Yoga.Vinyasa Yoga and Soto Zen both use the breath to access internal layers of consciousness, vitality and peace. We will utilize breathing techniques from both traditions as an entryway into the physical aspects of Vinyasa Flow and sitting meditation. Participants can expect daily flow and restorative yoga as well as meditation instruction and exploration of Zen teachings. One-on-one time with instructors will also be offered. There will be ample space and time to enjoy the beauty of Tassajara. Come as is and expect to return enlivened, grounded, replenished and supported with tools to nourish your practice and being.

Jiryu Mark Rutschman-Byler
Jiryu Mark Rutschman-Byler is a Soto Zen priest in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. He has trained full time at Zen temples in the U.S. and Japan since the age of 20, in 1996.
