August 24–28 (Monday-Friday)
A workshop for all self-identified women.Experience the depth and liveliness of Buddhist women's wisdom.
This retreat is based on The Hidden Lamp: Stories from Twenty-five Centuries of Awakened Women. Spend a few days with the editors of the book, celebrating “awakening in a female form,” through silence, play, dialogue, and writing. Together we’ll meet wise women of the past, through their stories and teachings, and we’ll meet each other—wise women of the present. This year we will focus on teachings about the body and the natural world, and we will spend contemplative and playful time outside, in the beauty of the Tassajara valley.Retreat fee:
