Cultivate energy and awareness through the practice of Vinyasa Yoga and Soto Zen.
Vinyasa Yoga and Soto Zen both explore the cultivation of energy, as well as emphasize self inquiry and awareness of breath to access internal layers of consciousness, vitality and peace. We will utilize techniques from both traditions as an entryway into the physical aspects of Vinyasa Flow and sitting meditation. Participants can expect daily flow and restorative yoga as well as meditation instruction and exploration of Zen teachings. One-on-one time with instructors will also be offered. Come “as is” and expect to return enlivened, grounded, replenished and supported, with tools to nourish your practice and being.Retreat Fee:
Jiryu Mark Rutschman-Byler
Jiryu Mark Rutschman-Byler is a Soto Zen priest in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. He has trained full time at Zen temples in the U.S. and Japan since the age of 20, in 1996.
Rosemary Garrison brings ten years of teaching experience and over 15 years of practice to her students. She offers a gentle, yet strong touch and consistently beckons her students into the deeper layers of the practice, encouraging a pathway to greater awareness, transformation and peace.
