In the Green Gulch Farm Yurt

It is in your life’s deep current that true meaning and purpose can be found.

Rather than a task you have to fulfill, or an external goal you have to attain, your life purpose can be seen as a gift that already exists in yourself—a current of aliveness whose taste and expression are unique to you. Using poetry as inspiration, we will use writing exercises to orient ourselves towards our deeper values and aspirations—those that place us as active participants in the great web of belonging, while at the same time celebrating the uniqueness of our authentic being. The writing exercises will alternate with short periods of sitting, out of which the wildness you discover on your page can emerge. Through this day of exploration, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with yourself and listen more intimately to your original voice.

No prior writing or meditation experience is required.

Fee: $90; $81 current SFZC members; $72 limited income. Fee includes lunch. Some partial scholarships available; see About Registration, Scholarships, and Cancellations.
