Saturday, November 10
10 am - 4 pm
with Shosan Victoria Austin Wheelwright Center at Green Gulch
This day-long retreat will include integrative instruction in both Zen and Yoga. Our focus will be on how to illuminate the physical, physiological, and spiritual practice of the Six Perfections, an ancient buddhist teaching on virtue. We will explore how each of the six (giving, backbone, focus, zeal, patience, and wisdom) can be located and nourished right here, in this very body; and how when nourished these virtues serve to awaken our own innate wisdom and intelligence.
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. Retreat fee:
$80; $72 current SFZC members; $64 limited income. Includes lunch and tea. Registration:
