Classes & Extended Courses Buddhism has a 2,500-year history and there have been many schools of Buddhist thought, and many styles of practice. Study is traditional in Zen monasteries as zazen and intellectual understanding inform and deepen each other.
Dharma Talks Public Dharma talks are offered every Saturday morning at 10:00 am and most Wednesdays at 7:30pm in the Buddha Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend, and chairs are available. See main calendar for details.
Practice Periods Practice periods are led by one of our resident teachers and usually focus on a particular teaching or aspect of practice. A practice period is the traditional Buddhist way to deepen and intensify one's practice.
Saturday Program Practice at Zen Center is open to all people regardless of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age or physical ability. Your donations are gratefully received and help us to maintain all of Zen Center's programs.
