Reach down into the events of your life and find the layers of wisdom and healing that lie within.

This daylong workshop offers space to delve into the seminal moments of your biography to reveal the deeper intelligence of your life’s journey. Through gentle periods of sitting meditation and contemplative walks in the garden, will we create a space for deep inquiry and invite an openness of mind that allows the truth of your life to reveal itself. Through a variety of exercises, you will be encouraged to write moments from your story in a way that clarifies your present as well as your past.

No prior writing or meditation experience is required.

Retreat fee: $90, $81 current SFZC member, $72 limited income. Fee includes lunch.

Sessei Meg Levie
Sessei Meg Levie, MA, has been practicing Zen for over 20 years and received ordination as a Zen priest in 2003. She holds degrees in English from Stanford University and the University of Texas at Austin. Currently she serves as the Program Development Director for the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute.
