Sunday, March 1, 2015   Eventbrite - One-Day Sitting (Sep/GGF)
10 am - 4:30 pm

(CE credits available—see note* below)

How do we embody and activate our Bodhisattva vows—the desire to alleviate the suffering of others, to help those we know and love, and then to reach out with wisdom and compassion locally, globally and universally?

Through group sitting, dialogue and experiential imagining, we will delve into Shantideva’s A Guide To The Bodhisattva’s Way of Life for a day of creative practice and play together. Participants need not have prior experience with meditation or the text, or possess special artistic talents.

Everyone is asked to bring only beginner’s mind to this exploration of revealing and sharing our bodhicitta, ie, our awakened hearts, as we deepen and express our practice of being bodhisattvas, together.
