Fresh! White

Fresh! White
Fresh! White is a recent graduate of Spirit Rock’s Community Dharma Leadership Program, and has been teaching meditation and Dharma at the East Bay Meditation Center (EBMC) since 2013. Practicing meditation and chanting on and off since the 80s, Fresh! is currently training in the Vipassana Tradition, and has been an active member in EBMC’s sangha since 2009. He teaches at several sanghas at EBMC, including the Family Sangha, Mahasanga, and is founder of the Bay Area’s first Mindfulness and Meditation group exclusively for the Trans* and genderqueer community.

A lover of life, and all beings, Fresh! lives to reflect love and self-acceptance to his diverse global community through his Dharma teachings, mindfulness offerings, Professional Coaching, Spiritual Counseling, and Transgender Ally Diversity Trainings. As a transmale of color, he strives to be an example of what is possible for all, and especially POC LGBTQ2ISGLA+ Ally, youth, and peers; who choose to live their authentic lives fully, and with ease. As a storyteller, he encourages self-love and self-compassion practices globally, through social media via his Facebook page. Locally, Fresh! was one of SF Pride’s Grand Marshals for 2016, is a long standing member of the Trans March, and sits as an ally on the auxiliary board of BridgeHIV.

Fresh! is co-author of Real World Mindfulness for Beginners, edited by Brenda Salgaldo and, Trans Bodies; Trans Selves, a resource guide, edited by Laura Erickson-Schroth, for the Transgender community and those who support them socially and professionally. Both books can be found on Amazon.
