Bri Barnett is an activist and development professional who has been involved in organizing for LGBTQ+, labor, environmental, racial, and housing justice. She currently works for the SF LGBT Center. Other professional experiences includes time spent conducting outreach for the Union of Concerned Scientists, campaign work in the East Bay, and volunteering with Causa Justa: Just Cause and the Transgender Law Center’s fundraising departments. Outside of work, Bri volunteers for a variety of non-profits and pursues understanding and embodiment through mindfulness, basketball, cooking, and reading. She has been meditating for several years and began guiding other people in meditation as part of East Bay Meditation Center's Practice in Transformative Action training to spread mindfulness in movements for social justice.
