In addition to leading workshops and speaking appearances, he maintains a private practice offering one-to-one sessions to clients ranging from CEOs, attorneys and psychologists to award-winning filmmakers, artists and authors. Unstuff Your Life!, his first book, is currently in its sixth printing, with translations in Russian and a soon-to-be audio book from Audible. In a previous life he was an award-winning playwright, actor, producer, and director and the former Artistic Director of Alice B. Theater (Seattle), DC Arts Center (Washington, DC) and Shuttle Theater Company (New York). A native of Detroit, Andrew spent six years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where he attended Northern Michigan University (B.A., Language/Literature/Theater). Along with several scholarships, he put himself through college playing drums in several local and touring bands. As a long-time student of Buddhism, Andrew has studied with Tenzin Robert Thurman, Sharon Salzberg, and Eido Shimano Roshi.
