with Zachary Smith
The Noble Eightfold Path is the Buddha's proposed solution to the suffering of the world, and much of the world literature of Buddhism simply constitutes further analysis of, and inquiry into, what he could possibly have meant by it. In this class we'll talk about how the components of the Eightfold Path can be woven into our daily lives and into the activity of each moment—how, sitting or standing, inside the temple or out, we can always be walking the path.
Class fees; nine class meetings:
$135; $122 current SFZC members; $108 limited income.
