Abbot Myogen Steve Stücky Traditional Soto Zen meditation retreat includes oryoki meals, daily Dharma talks, sitting and walking meditation, and private interviews with senior teachers. Instruction in the use of oryoki eating bowls will be offered the evening before sesshin begins.
Wednesday, June 12: Evening Orientation for Sesshin - Oryoki instruction at 5:00 pm
- Dinner at 6:00 pm
- Orientation for all participants 7:30 pm
Fees: $180; $162 current members; $144 limited income. The fee includes meals during the sitting.
Overnight accommodations: $25 per night shared room; $50 per night private room,
if available.

Central Abbot Myogen Steve Stücky
Myogen Steve Stücky has been practicing Zen since 1971 with various teachers including Richard Baker, Dainin Katagiri, Robert Aitken, and Tenshin Anderson. He received Dharma Transmission from Sojun Mel Weitsman in 1993. He became co-Abbot of the San Francisco Zen Center in February 2007 and in 2010 became Central Abbot as a part of restructuring the abbacy.
