Canceled
Saturday, October 13
1 - 4 pm
with Rita Gross

Conference Center at 308 Page Street

Many Buddhists overlook the foundation teachings, especially the Four Truths and Interdependence, eager to receive so-called “higher teachings” and more advanced practices. However, as both a student and a teacher of Buddhism, I have become convinced over the years that one can never emphasize these teachings enough; that if we truly understand them, the whole of Buddhist teaching and practice is ours. In this program, we will study these teachings in depth, focusing especially on contemplation practice and how to deepen our understanding of basic Buddhist teachings through contemplation.
  • In conjunction with this workshop, Rita Gross will give the public Dharma talk at City Center on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 10:15am.
Workshop fees: $40; $36 current SFZC members; $32 limited income.

To Register: Use the Ticket Table below [no longer available]. Or call our toll free number 888.743.9362 or our local number 415.475.9362.
