7:30 - 9 pm   Eventbrite - One-Day Sitting (Sep/GGF)

In this class we will explore, in depth, seven Zen practices for continually opening to wonder in joyous and difficult states of bodymind. Just as we are, we will engage these seven practices and talk together about our experiences. The seven practices are: Warm Zazen, Vow, Wide Field, Question, Purposelessness, Connection and Immediacy. After a brief description, students will take each practice into their everyday lives. The teachings offered will then build upon participants' experiences with each practice. This teaching process emphasizes that each student is his/her own teacher; only after students apply each practice personally will we discuss more formal "teaching" about each one.

The class is exciting, fast-paced and fun—it has received rave reviews in prior offerings.

$160; $144 current SFZC members; $96 limited income. Some partial scholarships available.
