Eight Wednesdays: October 8 - November 26, 2014
7:30 - 8:15 am

Suzuki Roshi taught, "Just to sit, with perfect attention on posture and breathing, and great, pure effort, is zazen." However, the human experience of just sitting is imperfect or distracted, out of harmony or breathless.

This eight-week Iyengar yoga class is designed to address the topic of human imperfection in meditation, not by imposing perfection, but by applying precise, appropriate effort, first to known areas of body and mind, then to the study of the unknown.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that exposes elbows and knees, and come with an empty stomach. Students at any level of yoga study are welcome to attend.

Fees: $80; $72 current SFZC members; $48 limited income. Some partial scholarships available. (About Registration, Scholarships and Cancellations.)

To Register: Use the ticket table below to register online. Or call our toll free number (888.743.9362) or our local number (415.475.9362).
