300 Page Street (Dining Room) How do emotions affect our physical health, and vice versa? Is your Qi (vital energy) a little stuck these days or does it flow pretty smoothly? In this workshop, we will explore how Traditional Chinese Medicine views the human body as a whole, the relationships between emotions and internal organs, and how they affect each other. We will discuss examples of disorders as results of certain excessive emotions or imbalance in the organs, such as anxiety, depression and insomnia. Breathing exercises and acupressure points will be introduced to help to calm the mind and regulate the flow of Qi, and delicious and soothing herbal teas will be served during the workshop.
