Precepts are not rules set up by someone.
—Suzuki Roshi, Not Always So

This class focuses on the precepts as guideposts for our thoughts, speech and actions, for living ethically, with deep regard for ourselves, others and the world in which we live. Through reflecting on our experience, reading, writing and discussion, we will appreciate the ways in which practicing with the precepts can enrich our lives. This class is open to everyone.
