We should find perfect existence through imperfect existence.
—Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, Zen Mind, Beginners Mind

Is happiness just for suckers? Is it just for those who aren't really paying attention? Or is there a rich vein of teaching in our Buddhist tradition that can help us be happier and healthier practitioners of The Way? In Buddhist Perspectives on Happiness, we will consider different teachings and teachers on the subject, look at some of the recent research on brain health and happiness, and engage the wisdom of the group as we make our way forward together.

Please wear comfortable clothing for meditation, and bring a bag lunch and writing materials. This workshop is based on a longer series of classes Laura previously presented at Zen Center.

Fees: $55; $50 current SFZC members; $44 limited income. To Register: Use the ticket table below to register online. Or call our toll free number (888.743.9362) or our local number (415.475.9362).
